After the successful SSHOC webinar: "CLARIN Hands-on Tutorial on Transcribing Interview Data" SSHOC invites all participants - as well as all other interested candidates who watched the recording - to join one of the four weekly Q&A sessions entitled »OH-Portal: Questions & Answers Sessions« at which the lecturers will try to answer your questions and help you solve problems in trying to use the presented approaches and tools on your own data.

Organised by SSHOC and its partner CLARIN-ERIC, the 2020 LR4SSHOC workshop will be held in Marseille (France), as part of the 12th edition of the Language Resources and Evaluation Conference (LREC2020).

This workshop will focus on the goals and aims of realising the SSHOC part of the EOSC, where SSH data, language processing tools, and services are made available, adjusted and accessible for users across SSH domain.

Certification is a sign of trust that benefits a data repository in many ways. How can your repository achieve certification? The SSHOC webinar will focus on the certification of digital repositories and how your repository can apply for the CoreTrustSeal. The webinar will also touch upon how SSHOC can support repositories seeking certification.

tThis SSHOC webinar, taking place on April 16 2020, will provide researchers with tools and workflows to combine the quantitative, data-driven and algorithmic analysis of text with qualitative inspection, hermeneutic approaches and interpretation. 

An opportunity to learn about novel policy and best practice around use and re-use of scientific data within the heritage science and archaeology contexts in this half-day webinar jointly organised by SSHOC, SEADDA and E-RIHS. Running live on Thursday 2^nd April, from 12.00 to 16:30 CEST, we will present the new heritage science data curation policy developed by E-RIHS and SEADDA, discuss practice challenges and share best tools to support on data re-use. 

Given the rapid developments over the last week, we hereby cancel the EURISE workshop.

We regret the circumstances, but feel that a cancellation at this point in time is the only sensible option.

We will re-evaluate possibilities to try again at a much later date, but can of course not give any timelines yet.

Registration is now open for the third EURISE Workshop.

The SSHOC 3rd Consortium Meeting will be hosted by CLARIN-ERIC, on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 March 2020 in its virtual zoom rooms.

Organised by SSHOC, the workshop "Linking Social Survey and Linguistic Infrastructures through EOSC" will be held in Utrecht on the 24th of March 2020, in co-location with the 3rd SSHOC Consortium meeting.
