Introducing the four researchers selected to test the Alpha release of the SSH Open Marketplace and report back on their findings during the ICTeSSH 2020 Conference. 

SSHOC now invites applications from Social Science and Humanities repositories interested in receiving support to achieve CoreTrustSeal certification.

On 30 June 2020 we will release the Alpha version of the SSH Open Marketplace. This second post in our dedicated series explains how the Marketplace content is being selected and organised, and describes the resources that will be available to researchers on launch.

At the SEADDA Exploratory Workshop on Use and Reuse of Archaeological Data at the end of March 2020, SSHOC, E-RIHS and SEADDA co-hosted a full day of knowledge sharing and discussion on the topic of heritage science and archaeological data.

SSHOC  is organizing support for repositories in the Social Sciences and Humanities domain that want to attain CoreTrustSeal certification, under it's work on Trust & Quality Assurance.

Between 10:00 and 14:00 CEST on 17 June, SSHOC will take over the Twitter account of partner organisation DARIAH to promote the Alpha release of the SSH Open Marketplace.

On 23 April 2020, SSHOC held the webinar “How to improve the quality of your repository? SSHOC and certification of repositories”, focusing on the certification of digital repositories and how a repository can apply for the CoreTrustSeal. The webinar also touched upon how SSHOC will be able support repositories seeking certification.

The SSH Open Marketplace comes under the spotlight this week as the topic of the submission from SSHOC to the EOSC-hub Week 2020 poster competition.

In March 2020, SSHOC partners collaborated with ETHMIGSURVEYDATA to share SSHOC expertise on how to ensure data FAIRness with participants of the COST Action’s Working group plenary meetings and 2nd Annual Policy Dialogue Conference. 

In June 2020 we will release the Alpha version of the SSH Open Marketplace. In this post we describe our participatory design approach, share our timeline, and explain how you can participate in the development.
