Who is this for?

This presentation aimed at all academics and practitioners from the fields of Sociology, Linguistics and Translation Studies, who are interested in international comparable surveys, survey research and methods, translation of questionnaires, and machine translation.

The SSHOC project announces an interactive workshop aimed at practitioners and policy makers involved in the work on GDPR, research ethics, and Code of Conducts. 
Participants will gain insights on experiences about codes of conducts, offering the opportunity to discuss the need for code of conducts, and possible challenges and experiences regarding establishments of code of conducts. 

The SSHOC project announces an interactive workshop for policy makers, practitioners and others working with GDPR, research ethics, and Codes of Conduct. 

Participants will gain practical insights into the challenges inherent in establishing a Code of Conduct and learn the how and why from experts in the field.

The outcomes of the workshop will be incorporated into an ongoing project task to set up a Code of Conduct specifically for Social Sciences and Humanities researchers. 

"Reuse of Existing Training Materials in SSH" is the topic of this month's informal call between members of the SSH Training Community.

The SSHOC CLARIN collaborative webinar series continues on 24 February with the topic Best Practices for Preserving Oral Archives.

SSHOC will present a poster at the The Open Science Conference 2021, the 8th international conference of the Leibniz Research Alliance Open Science. 

The workshop will bring together scientific communities from EGI-ACE (WP5 Data Spaces and T2.3 Early Adopters), with the service providers and user support teams from EGI-ACE, from the broader EGI federation and from EGI partner infrastructures outside Europe (e.g. OSG, CNIC, etc.)

"Lessons Learned: Organising a Large Event Online" is the topic of this month's informal call between members of the SSHOC Training Community.
