D7.4 Marketplace – Data population & curation

The SSH Open Marketplace is a discovery portal for digital tools, services, and methods in the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH), with an emphasis placed on placing these resources in their research context. It is the SSH component of the EOSC Marketplace.

D7.2 Marketplace – Implementation

This document delivers the results of Task 7.2 “Development of the Marketplace application” of the Social Sciences and Humanities Open Cloud (SSHOC) project funded by the European Commission under Grant Agreement #823782. Its main purpose is to describe the actual implementation of the SSH Open Marketplace application on the background of the system specification (delivered in 2019 as D7.1 System Specification - SSH Open Marketplace).

SSHOCingly good and sustainable tools

This report is a shortened version that contains the second part of the SSHOC legacy booklet, showcasing the tools, resources and plug & play communities produced by the SSHOC project, through their dedicated factsheets. We start this section with the SSH Open Marketplace, and continue with the factsheets per category: Sharing & Discovery, Data Management, Processing & Analysis, Datasets, Training & Support

SSHOC Legacy booklet

The social sciences and humanities (SSH) encompasses researchers with roots in very diverse domains and methodological frameworks, from heritage researchers documenting work with 3D digital objects to interdisciplinary social researchers seeking new modes to analyse existing sources, to name but a few. In the digital age, new insights and ground-breaking research increasingly relies on powerful, tailored tools and environments for research within and across disciplines.

SSHOC Exploitation Plan

This Exploitation Plan gives an overview of the joint and multiple individual exploitation paths aimed at increasing the impact of all the Key Exploitable Results developed during the SSHOC project lifetime (from January 2019 to April 2022). The Plan is aligned with the contractual obligations defined in articles 28 and 29 of the SSHOC Grant Agreement (No. 823782).

D7.3 Marketplace - Interoperability

The SSH Open Marketplace is one of the key exploitable results of the SSHOC project. It is designed to be a central information hub where researchers can go to find detailed information about software tools, relevant publications, datasets and workflows. Within the Marketplace contextualisation should be provided, linking, for example, publications to the tools or datasets they mention.

MS43 -Marketplace - beta release

Three different releases of the SSH Open Marketplace are planned during the SSHOC project. The three corresponding milestones (MS42, 43 and 44) ensure the progress and the coherence of the various tasks contributing to the creation of the SSH Open Marketplace. MS 43 “Marketplace - beta release” is the second one and is described as following in SSHOC Grant Agreement: “Marketplace implementing core functionality, deployed in an operational environment, populated with an extended set of data, open to the whole community to use and participate”.

Agile development of the SSH Open Marketplace: User Workshop

For the release of the Alpha version of the SSH Marketplace, we arranged a two-hour slot on 30 June 2020 during the ICTeSSH 2020 Conference. This report provides the context for the development of the Marketplace and presents the feedback received from testers who had been given prior access to the site, and from workshop attendees who were polled via Mentimeter during the event.

MS38 Launch Community engagement strategy

This document describes the progress on carrying out the community engagement activities identified in the SSHOC Community Engagement Strategy (D6.1) under T6.2 and according to the means of verification as per the description of work.
