16 November 2020 to 19 November 2020
Location: Online

EOSChub, FREYA and SSHOC are joining forces in this online event on 16-19 November. The three EOSC implementation projects will focus on their contributions to realising the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), and the next steps towards a FAIR research data landscape for the Social Scientific and Humanities’ community and beyond.

EOSChub, FREYA and SSHOC invite scholars from the EOSC Ecosystem, ESFRI Cluster projects, Social Science and Humanities researchers, data experts, research infrastructures, service providers, research libraries and archives, research funders and policy makers to join forces in shaping the developments of EOSC.

The main objectives of the four-day program are:

  • Show EOSChub, FREYA and SSHOC results to the Open Science infrastructure and community and see how these results can be taken up and integrated into the future work on the EOSC and FAIR data landscape in the SSH and beyond.
  • Connect and onboard (new) community members of the three EOSC implementation projects EOSChub, FREYA and SSHOC
  • Facilitate researchers, data experts, and service providers to use SSH tools and PID services, advancing the FAIR research data landscape.

Join the interactive sessions, expert panels, live demonstrations and discussions on the progress made and identification of future steps. Sessions have been designed along four thematic topics: policy and governance, technology and infrastructure, training and community building and sustainability
